We typically invest as founding equity partners, or as seed-stage investment partners, in the companies with whom we work. We function as true co-founders in the portfolio companies, providing many core services including expertise and assistance in product development, regulatory strategy, patent strategy, engineering, marketing and business development. Our network of associates can provide specialized services as needed, allowing the portfolio companies to conserve scarce cash resources and invest those resources in profitable development efforts.

This investment model provides us with the same basis for return on investment as the original founders and later stage venture capital investors: The company must succeed in order for us to earn a return on our investment. This principle aligns our incentives and gives us commonality of goals.
