We invest as seed-stage equity partners in the companies with whom we work. This allows our partner companies to conserve scarce cash resources and invest those resources in profitable development efforts. It also provides us with the same basis for return on investment as the original founders and later stage venture capital investors: The company must succeed in order for us to earn a return on our investment. This principle aligns our incentives and gives us commonality of goals.

In addition to core services, our network of associates can provide specialized services as needed, sometimes as part of our contribution to the company and sometimes under a separate consulting agreement with the portfolio company.
