Russell Donda
Business Plans, Strategy & Authorship

Russell Donda has more than 25 years of management experience at both executive and entrepreneurial levels. His competencies include very early stage work where technologies, existing only in concept, must have their feasibility confirmed through a clear assessment of the time and cost to market, product cost, market size, related intellectual property and competitive issues, regulatory issues, and other factors. He is also competent in later stage development work where the created task and timeline is being monitored and implemented to reach planned milestones such as prototype development, fund raising, assessment of early strategic alliances (or future acquiring companies), and planning for the hiring of industry-experienced management. Mr. Donda has formed numerous companies, and is very familiar with start-up operations, strategic planning, development related issues, marketing, patent law, intellectual property management, and strategic alliance structuring.

Mr. Donda was the founding CEO of ViewRay Incorporated, (www.viewray.com) a company developing a novel approach to radiation therapy. He spearheaded business development for Regeneration Technologies (www.rtix.com) a developer of allograft implants, and was also a founding member and co-chair of investment review for the Emergent Growth Fund (www.emergentgrowth.com) an angel investment fund focused on technology businesses. He also performed strategic relations and business development work for the former University of Florida Orthopedic Tissue Bank which ultimately became RTIX.
